Teaching
and Lessons
• Tuition is provided by qualified
teachers, who work in pairs so that each class can experience
and benefit from at least two teaching styles.
• Teaching sessions usually consist of four lessons
of 45 minutes each and a half-hour break; Intensive Courses
have additional lessons.
• To ensure the best possible teacher-student ratio,
classes are usually limited to a maximum of 15 students.
• Teachers have access to a wide range of materials
and resources, including audio-visual facilities, and
students are given study materials to work on and take
home.
• As well as offering a multi-skill approach to
language learning in the General English Lessons, we
also offer five extra hours of project work lessons. These
follow a lively and stimulating framework, providing
students with the opportunity of choosing materials and
topics for themselves and to communicate effectively
on topical issues and interests.
• Each Centre has a Director of Studies, an experienced
EFL specialist, who ensures that the quality of teaching
and learning is maintained to the highest standards.
