Free-time activities

Activities
Stafford House Study Holidays include a huge range of activities:

• day trips to famous or historic locations
• visits to local attractions
• opportunities to play sports
• opportunities to participate in creative workshops
• evening entertainments e.g. theme parties, film nights and more
• more adventurous excursions e.g. weekends in London. 

Excursions
Most programmes run a full-day organised excursion every Saturday (except for arrival and departure weekends).

Most programmes include an organised half-day excursion, which takes place on a weekday afternoon.

Excursions are accompanied by a member of staff and transport is provided in private coaches.

Entrance fees, where applicable, are included in the cost of the programme.

Afternoon activities
On Classic courses, the programme includes afternoons of sports and cultural activities.

Evening activities
A full programme of activities is provided for students on inclusive programmes. These activities include barbecues, discos, theme parties, film evenings, treasure hunts, quiz nights and talent shows.

Optional activities and excursions
Stafford House Study Holidays offers a supplementary programme of optional outings and excursions. Some, such as weekends in London or Edinburgh, must be booked in advance. Others, such as the optional excursions on Sundays, and visits to the theatre, can be booked during the course.

Common room
There is usually a common room at our Centres where students can relax, watch television, play table-tennis and meet one another informally.
