Essential skills for your future

Our specialist programme is designed to ensure that you're well prepared for the UCLan Master's degree you want to study. During the course you will cover the following key areas of study:

• English for Academic Purposes: ensuring your English meets the requriements for Master's level academic study in the UK
• Business: ensuring you start your degree with a sound knowledge of Business practice
• Research methods: you will develop and deliver your own research projects to prepare you for the rigours of your Master's projects
• Introduction to UK study and ICT: it is important you understand what will be expected of you and how to make the most of the technology available for research in the UK

Ensuring your IELTS success

We don't take any chances with your future. We know you want to progress to your Master's degree so achieving a high IELTS score is crucial. To ensure that you get the results you need in your final IELTS exam, we assess your progress throughout the course by means of full and regular mock IELTS assessments. When you sit your final exam there won't be any surprises.

If you don't have the right IELTS score to start the Foundation (IELTS 5.0), you can begin with our English Language Preparation Programme.
