Charlie Russell
Nationality: British
Course: Foundation Drama
Achievements: Has attained the lead role in a National Youth Theatre Production and a place at East 15 Drama School, London.

"I was so impressed with the course, and how much time is spent on helping the students with auditions for drama schools. I was keen on moving away from home [as] I felt this would add to my maturity when I applied for drama schools.

The affiliation with RADA gave an assurance that the standard of teaching would be high, and when I auditioned I got on well with the Course Director.

We cover the main areas of acting training: Voice, Movement and Acting along with Singing, Dance, Musical Theatre and Audition Technique. In Acting we learn to free ourselves of inhibition and to extend our ability to work as an ensemble. Movement lessons were something new to me.

I’d certainly advise a Foundation Course. Even though I felt completely ready for a 3 year course, the Foundation year made me prepare for having to commit to a three year programme. It also helped to bolster my determination to become an actress."

Michelle Ng
Nationality
: Malaysian
Course: A levels and Art Foundation
Achievements: Student of the Year
Where is she now? Loughborough University, studying Multimedia Textiles BA

“I enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of the college where the staff and tutors are really dedicated and committed. Not only that, you also get a lot of personal attention from tutors so there is no way you could ever feel left out, lost or uninspired!”
