Our students achieve Two Grades Higher

Using special methods of boosting the brain’s power, on average, our students achieve exam results two grades higher than initially predicted.

Our Colleges help students focus on success and seize opportunities right from day one.

After years of experience and a track record of academic success, we are confident in claiming that our teaching methods will:
  • improve reading speed by 40%
  • improve memory by 40%
  • improve reading recall by 40%
  • enhance creative thinking by a massive 200%

Here are just a few of our A-level students that have benefitted in January 2009 exams:

Name Subject ALIS predicted grade* Actual grade obtained
Tawanda Kunzekweguta Business Studies D A
David Lehmann-Barenklau German D A
Yi Shun Luo Maths D B
Jun Ma Maths C A
Jana Mostynova Business Studies C A
Oksana Nemyrovych Economics D A

*The Advanced Level Information System (Alis) provides performance indicators for post-16 students across all sectors of education and includes analysis of A level, AS level, Applied A-Levels, BTEC National and International Baccalaureate Examinations. Alis is the original member of the family of value-added monitoring systems run at the Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM) at Durham University. It has grown from only 12 schools in the northeast of England in 1983 to cover over a third of all A-Level entries in the UK and international schools sitting UK exams in this present year.

At CATS and CSVPA, you learn crucial study skills like speed reading, creative thinking, recall and memory enhancement.

This summer, we are holding open days every Wednesday for students interested in visiting CATS Cambridge, CATS Canterbury or Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.

During the day, students and parents have the opportunity to:

  • tour the college
  • tour the city of Cambridge or Canterbury
  • visit our accommodation
  • meet our staff
  • experience the atmosphere of our Colleges
  • apply for our courses.
Senior staff will provide expert advice, support and guidance on the exciting opportunities we provide and how we assist students to achieve their ambitions.

Each student will have an individual interview and assessment to enable us to gain an accurate understanding of their learning needs. There will also be the opportunity to apply for scholarships or bursaries.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for students and parents in our College canteen.

To book your place at any of our College open days, simply let us know which Wednesday is best for you, and we will send you a schedule for the day and directions to the appropriate College.
