Qian Li Xia (Bill), China
CATS Cambridge, A-levels
Bill achieved AAAB and a place at Cambridge University studying Mathematics.
"I always wanted to study in the city I hoped to go to University to and Cambridge was my number 1 choice. CATS Cambridge offered Oxbridge qualified tutors and a history of Cambridge graduates so was the only option for me.
My CATS tutors were very supportive - my maths tutor really brought the excitement to the subject and I really respect him and his knowledge. He is amazingly fast and never uses a calculator!
I enjoyed the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of studying in Cambridge. I’ve had good tutors who are very helpful. I wouldn’t have achieved so much as I have, had I gone to another College."

Yurika Oshio, Japan
CATS Canterbury, University Foundation
Yurika achieved AAA and a place at Cambridge University to study Veterinary Medicine.
"The university tutors... understood that you can't know everything about a subject - that's what you're going to university for... I did work experience in Veterinary Surgeries and farms, and I also worked at a zoo, which is where I became particularly interested in conservation and animal welfare. That gave me practical experience and plenty to talk about during the interview."
Yurika's ambition is to work in animal conservation.

Scott received a double scholarship award to study at Parsons in New York.
"We get lots of one-to-one time with the tutors and they have adapted the syllabus to suit our needs - without my tutors' support I would never be going to Parsons."

Charlie Russell, UK
CSVPA, Drama Foundation
Charlie attained the lead role in a National Youth Theatre Production and a place at LAMDA (London Academic of Music & Dramatic Art).
"I was so impressed with the course, and how much time is spent on helping the students with auditions for drama schools.
The affiliation with RADA gave an assurance that the standard of teaching would be high.
Even though I felt completely ready for a 3 year course, the Foundation year made me prepare for having to commit to a three year programme. It also helped to bolster my determination to become an actress."
