We offer two programmes at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan): an Undergraduate Foundation, and a Master's Foundation.

International Undergraduate Foundation programme

UCLan offers its students many hundreds of courses and subject combinations. This programme prepares international students for direct entry to the widest possible range of these undergraduate degrees.

We offer five academic pathways – to make sure that students are well prepared for the UCLan degree they want to study:

  • Business, Economics, Finance & Management
  • Humanities, Law and Social Sciences
  • Life Sciences
  • Engineering & Sciences
  • Art & Design and Media

Entry requirements

  • IELTS 4.5 to 5.0.
  • Satisfactory completion of a secondary or high school qualification (please contact us for specific entry requirements for your country/education system).
  • Students should normally complete a satisfactory interview either with a CEG member of staff or academic representative in the student’s own country. 

Students whose level of English is not yet sufficient for entry should contact us for advice on alternative preparatory programmes.

Accommodation

All FoundationCampus students are eligible to apply for a place in UCLan’s student accommodation, which are situated either on or very close to its main Preston campus.

University of Central Lancashire (UCLan)
