Student life at Stafford House
What's included in the course price?

Nearly 60 years' experience of teaching English

Stafford House has over 57 years of experience in the field of English language tuition. Our success is a result of our constant focus on providing the highest quality of education possible and ensuring each student maximises their full potential.

Small class sizes
We aren’t a huge, impersonal English language centre. Our classes are small, with a maximum of 14 students. You can be sure there is always a good mix of nationalities, and that English is spoken, rather than your native language.

DELTA qualified teachers
Our teachers are helpful, approachable and well-qualified. All our permanent teaching staff hold a Diploma in English Language Training to Adults (DELTA). This is an advanced English teaching qualification that shows the exceptional quality and ability of the staff at the School.

Finally, we are proud of our supportive and safe environment. Our commitment to ensuring your happiness and well-being whilst at Stafford House is total.

Take part in popular British sports and activities – with time to sightsee!

We have a dedicated team of activity organisers that will help you make the most out of your spare time in the UK, including excursions to London, visits to museums and art galleries, outings to theatres, cinemas and concerts and a variety of sports.

Abdullah Alhutaylah
Certificate of English - Standard

"Stafford House School of English is not too big, in fact it’s just the right size for me. I get lots of attention from the tutors and I get to interact with the classes. If I was in a larger school I do not think my English would be improving so quickly!

I love the social side of the School of English, the activities we do really involve me in the culture. My friends who are studying at other English schools get jealous when I tell them about the activities I do here!"

Pat O'Donoghue

"I started teaching English in 1991 and joined Stafford House in 2001. I love meeting people from all over the world and seeing how they get on together. It is my hope they go home with a better understanding and view of different cultures, and of course of ours. I feel my role is to be like an Ambassador in my own country!"
