In addition to their academic subject options, students are timetabled for five hours of specialist Academic English language support per week covering speaking, listening, writing and reading as well as cultural awareness and study skills.
In addition to formal study, CATS Canterbury offers a broad range of extra-curricular activities which provide further opportunity for personal growth and development. The range of activities includes sports, arts clubs, debating and philosophy groups and the option of individualised projects through the Creativity, Action, Service modules of the International Baccalaureate (IB).
