CATS Tutor awarded prestigious History Fellowship
CATS Cambridge's eminent Head of Humanities, Dr Eric Boston, has been awarded a Fellowship by the Historical Association in recognition of his significant contribution to the promotion and knowledge of History.
Dr Boston spearheaded the successful History seminars at CATS Cambridge and has continued this success with presentations, speeches and seminars at Colleges around the UK.
He gave the keynote address at this year's prestigious Millfield School History Conference, who commented, “Thank you for delivering such an interesting and enjoyable talk, I have heard very positive accounts from students and tutors alike and know they will have benefited greatly from your taking these into other Schools around the UK where they are of great benefit to both staff and students.“
Dr Boston co-ordinates the regular CATS Cambridge Oxbridge Days which are in high demand from students across the UK aspiring to entry at Cambridge or Oxford University. CATS Cambridge students benefit from talks by Oxbridge University admissions staff and tours of University Colleges, with whom Dr Boston has an excellent relationship.
Dr Boston is a member of the Institute of Historical Research which provides an important resource and meeting place for History researchers from all over the world, and is based at the University of London.
He is also a member of the OCR and Edexcel exam boards and has been heavily involved with Cambridge University Examinations in the development of the new Cambridge Pre-U History programme.
