Music / Music Technology Summer School
This course is designed for those wishing to significantly develop their skills and knowledge of Music and Music Technology.
- Ideal for students wishing to pursue further study in music / music technology.
- Students with a musical background will find the course more accessible and rewarding.
- Course includes music excursions e.g. performances locally and in London.
Music
Music classes will include learning about various core techniques including:
- counterpoint and harmony
- use of scales and melody
- a variety of musical styles
- an introdution to practical performance techniques.
Students will have the opportunity to practise a musical instrument over the duration of the course.
International students should have a good level of English (Intermediate or above).
Music Technology
The Music Technology element will introduce students to the latest recording techniques:
- technology and equipment
- industry standard software
- musical arrangement
- composition
- editing musical compositions.
Students will be encouraged to produce a final piece or song which will be transferred to CD for students to take home.
International students should have a good level of English (Intermediate or above).
