Tomomi Hashimoto
Nationality: Japanese
Course: Foundation Film and Video
Achievements: Winner of Best of Students' films prize

Tomomi won first place in the Best of Students' films category at the Lucky Foot Film Festival, for her film 'Baby Boy Adventure'. As well as winning a trophy, the winning piece was shown at the well-regarded Cambridge Film Festival in its 24th year.

Emily Houghton & Carlyss Peers

Course: Drama Foundation
Where are they now? Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London

Carlyss and Emily - not one, but two Drama Foundation students from CSVPA won places on the sought-after acting degree course at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London. Carlyss and Emily were two of only 32 successful students (16 male and 16 female), out of more than 2000 applicants - an unprecedented achievement.

Kohji Yanagi
Nationality: Japanese
Course: Fashion Foundation
Achievements: Best Garment Fashion Award – Julien MacDonald
Where is he now? University of Hertfordshire, studying Fashion BA

Kohji's red-carpet garment was picked from a brief set by celebrity fashion designer Julien MacDonald as the winning garment at CSVPA's end-of-year fashion show. The prize for Kohji - two weeks' work experience with Julien at his London fashion studio. Kohji went on to study Fashion at the University of Hertfordshire.

Michelle Ng

Course: A levels and Art Foundation
Achievements: Student of the Year
Where is she now? Loughborough University, studying Multimedia Textiles BA
