Art & Design Foundation: be a part of our 100% success rate

For the last 15 years, 100% of students with our Foundation have been offered places on top degree courses in Art & Design. Our fashion students have gone on to work with the likes of Christian Dior, Armani and many of our art and design students are now professional artists, designers, photographers, illustrators...

How do we further your creative development?

  • We are a specialist Foundation School with brand new, world class studios, facilities and equipment.
  • Our Foundation course will help you identify your strengths, as you explore a wide range of disciplines, focusing on your individual development.
  • Our Foundation course provides the essential transition between A level and degree-level study.
  • You will gain all the necessary qualifications and a portfolio of work for entry to university, art institute or film school.
  • Our end of year fashion show and art exhibition allow students to showcase their work and gain input from the world's leading professionals. Recent sponsors have included: Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood, Julien Macdonald, Ben de Lisi, Valentino, Philip Treacy and Katharine Hamnett.

Work with professional artists

You will be someone of individual value from day one with your own working space, a wealth of opportunity, and lots of quality time and commitment from your tutors - all of whom are working artists and designers as well as teachers.

Your creative future

You will learn ‘hands on’, not only about theory and current techniques but also by gaining first-hand insight into the possibilities for creative career directions. You will have your own Personal Tutor whose role is to help in all areas of life at the School and to ensure your happiness and success.
