The teaching

At CSVPA you will find a total focus on your creative development. You will learn and experiment, engage and create. But most importantly you will be an individual from day one.

• Lecturers are all experienced practising artists, actors or musicians.
• Personal Tutors manage students’ progress and development.
• Lecturers advise and assist with applications to higher education and career planning where applicable.

Art & Design

• Teaching is delivered on students’ needs using workshop methods and project work.
• A flexible approach is offered – students are encouraged to combine different disciplines and techniques.
• Teaching takes place in small groups – classes are limited to 10 students.
• Specialised English Language tuition in Art & Design is offered as an option.
• Students are taught in spacious new studios.

Drama

Our School is the only provider of a Drama Foundation course in association with RADA (The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art). The course has been developed under RADA’s direction and is monitored and assessed by its expert staff. Students may therefore expect the highest standards of teaching and assessment during their Foundation year at CSVPA.

• Specialist master classes run by professional practitioners and RADA Lecturers.
• Students are taught in the famous ‘Footlights’ studio, at the adjacent ADC Theatre and in spacious new studios.
