I found it to be a very friendly college and the tutors were very good even better than I had expected. My landlady was brilliant I loved my digs. In my second year I stayed in self-catering accommodation to give me more freedom to study. I made a lot of good friends at CATS."

Kohji Yanagi

Where is he now? University of Hertfordshire, studying Fashion BA
Kohji finished his schooling and studied English in Japan before joining CSVPA. He created the winning garment for our end of year fashion show, awarded by the celebrity designer Julien Macdonald. "Sophisticated, very chic and very red carpet," is how Macdonald described Kohjis winning garment. Kohji went on to spend time in Julien Macdonalds London studio, where Macdonald has designed gowns for Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet, Sarah Jessica Parker and Catherine Zeta Jones amongst others.
