CATS alumnus Lewis Hamilton now has something else to boast about - the 2008 Formula 1 Champion's title! After a nail biting finish to the season, Lewis has finally achieved the dream that we first heard about when he came to study his GCSEs in Cambridge.

Stephen Hawking has unveiled 'The Corpus Clock', an extraordinary new clock sculpted by CSVPA Applied Crafts tutor and professional sculptor Matthew Sanderson. The Clock is driven by a giant Grasshopper, the largest in the world, literally 'eating' time.

Our brand new Semi-Intensive English course for 14 - 17 year olds builds on the success of our long-running Summer courses for Juniors. The Winter course takes place in January 2009 and offers a full programme of study and activities.

The 2008 CSVPA Arts Festival was our most ambitious yet. With a floating catwalk, major art exhibition and challenging performance of Brecht's Threepenny Opera, our students really excelled. Every event sold out - our students won praise across the City.

On 13 June, CATS Canterbury held their annual Graduation Ceremony. 77 students were graduating from the University Foundation year programme, many of them with straight A's giving access to some of the top universities in the UK.
