Where is she now? Wen gained a distinction in Electronic Engineering at the University of York, then moved into Accountancy. Now at Deloitte's while undertaking her professional examinations, her next step is a DPhil in Accountancy or becoming a practising Chartered Accountant.


Improve your English through Study Abroad

The Study Abroad programme is designed for international students aged 16+ and provides the opportunity to:

  • gain an insight into British education and culture
  • improve your language skills through the study of the subjects that interest you most
  • broaden your horizons by meeting and studying with students from over 60 countries
  • earn credit for studies in your home country.

Students are able to design individualised study programmes by selecting options from a wide range of subject areas.


Flexible start dates

We offer further flexibility with start dates in September and January and periods of study from one to four terms.

Subject options and free-time activities

Students select specialist English language courses and up to four subjects from a range of areas including:

  • Maths, Science and Technology
  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • The Arts
  • Business and Law
  • Languages

If a particular subject combination is not available then the College will advise on a suitable alternative which leads to relevant pathways for future careers or university study.

In addition to formal study, students are offered a broad range of extra-curricular activities which provide further opportunity for personal growth and development.

Accommodation

Students can choose either Homestay (living with a local family) or College Halls of Residence, where there are both single and twin rooms available.
