Wen gained a distinction in Electronic Engineering at the University of York, then moved into Accountancy. Now at Deloitte's while undertaking her professional examinations, her next step is a DPhil in Accountancy or becoming a practising Chartered Accountant.


Students select specialist English language courses and up to four subjects from the areas described below. If a particular subject combination is not available then the College will advise on a suitable alternative which leads to relevant pathways for future careers or university study.

In addition to your academic subject options, students are timetabled for five hours of specialist Academic English lessons per week covering speaking, listening, writing and reading as well as cultural awareness and study skills.
In addition to formal study, CATS Canterbury offers a broad range of extra-curricular activities which provide further opportunity for personal growth and development. The range of activities includes sports, arts clubs, debating and philosophy groups and the option of individualised projects through the Creativity, Action and Service modules of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
