It’s a really great opportunity to come and study here at a Cambridge school. I’m impressed with the facilities and everyone at the school has been really friendly. It’s also really good to have the help of Higher Education staff to get to University conventions; it means you can meet with Universities from across the country.’

The new facilities are brilliant and so is the number of teachers to pupils. It’s great to take part in Cambridge; I think it really is the most fun, small city.’

Gintare Urbutyte
Nationality: Lithuanian
Courses: Gintare is currently studying GCSEs and will be progressing onto A-levels in September.
What does she say about us?

‘I really enjoy it here, so I recommended that my friend from Lithuania comes here too. The small class sizes are really good and the teachers speak to you as though you are on the same level as them, which is very nice. The Principal here is very approachable; you can talk to him about many things. There is always someone to tell if you have any problems and the supervisors in my accommodation are really nice.’

What does he say about us?

‘The communication here is so friendly, all the teachers really are your friends and they’re on your side. It’s great to get an education in England, much better than in Austria you get a lot more knowledge here. The new facilities are great and also very modern. I recommended the college to my Austrian friend and he is also here now. Cambridge is a beautiful city and here you really learn how to study.’

What does he say about us?

‘I’ve really grown up since I’ve been here and have learnt to do things myself, living independently.  The teachers have given me great advice on pathways and the consequences of my studies. I came here from a school in India, where I wasn’t succeeding. I really feel like CATS have given me a great opportunity and this is something that I’ll always remember. It’s a stress free environment here, no pushes – they give you the work and the direction to go in and that really works for me. Sharing the class with so many different nationality students gives you a good idea of others perceptions. Having a personal tutor means that you always have support and the technology used here really adds to the learning.’
